Cecil Edward Barlow, 73

Orlando-Cecil Edward Barlow passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from complications of lung cancer.

Cecil was born on March 1, 1946 in Lakeland, Florida. He joined the US Navy on September 22, 1964 and retired a Lieutenant Commander on February 1, 1994. During his 30 year career, his most satisfying job was being in EOD (Explosive Ordinance Disposal). His hobby was the passion of model train collecting with his many train friends and clubs.

Cecil was preceded in death by his parents, Malcolm Barlow and Edith Lutz and his beloved son, Cecil "Edward" Barlow Jr.
Survived by his wife of 55 years, Sarah Wingate Barlow, his son, Mac Barlow of Zirconia, NC and his daughter, Kimberly Barlow Ferguson of Ashland, Ohio; 5 grandchildren-Tiffany, Joshua, Shelby, Lucas and MacKenzie and 2 great grandchildren-Tobias and Athena.

A graveside service at Lakeland Funeral Home, Wednesday, February 19, 2020 with Military Honors.
