Brenda Church

Brenda Joyce Church, age 76, of Lakeland, Fl, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 16, 2023. She was surrounded by her children and closest loved ones as she peacefully entered heaven. 

Brenda was born on January 10, 1947 to Hobert Ray Church and Virginia Lucille Rymer in Huntington, West Virginia. She went on to become a dedicated and loving mother to her three children. She loved her family, the Lord, and was a generous and loyal friend to all. Brenda is remembered by her friends and family as a sweet and giving soul, sharing her faith with all she met and always helping others. 

Brenda showed her gratitude and appreciation for others by preparing homemade dishes. Her beef stew, meatball sandwiches, and cobblers were often requested and enjoyed by her family, neighbors, and church family.

Brenda is preceded in death by her mother and father; her two brothers, Clarence and Paul; and three sisters, Nina, Helen, and Marvina. Brenda is survived by her two sisters, Angie and Renea; her three children and their spouses, Scott and Bonnie Sebright, Anita and James Wise, and Michael and Taunia Sebright; her nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
