Brayden D. Fulton, 16, of Lakeland, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends following complications during his battle with cancer. He was born May 20, 2005 in Indianapolis, the son of David and Lynn (Panilaitis) Fulton. He attended Lake Gibson High School, where he played football and planned to attend a technical school to receive his welding certification.
Brayden’s life here on earth may not have had the quantity we all wished and prayed for, but it definitely had the quality. Brayden was always surrounded by an army of amazing friends and family. He had an amazing girlfriend who he loved with all his heart. Some people never even get to experience this, but luckily for Brayden, he found her. He was a very funny, annoying, protective, and loving kid to his friends and family. If you were blessed enough to know Brayden you knew that life was never boring with him around. He would always push to the limit. He knew how to break things, which came naturally to him, but he was also determined to fix anything and everything. There wasn’t anything he couldn't learn how to do, there was no holding him back! He loved fishing, hunting, riding 4-wheelers and dirt bikes, playing his guitar, working on his truck, spending time with his family, friends, and mostly spending time with his love Maddie. He had a smile that could really brighten any bad mood you were in (not even exaggerating). That smile got him out of all kinds of trouble growing up ESPECIALLY with his mama. We may never understand why he was taken away from us too soon, but the one thing we do know is that Brayden added sunshine to our lives.
Brayden is survived by his parents Dave and Lynn Fulton, his brother Anthony Miller and his sisters Mckenzie Fulton and Raegan Fulton. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Janice Johnson (John Johnson) and Gordon Panilaitis, and his paternal grandparents, Saundra Barlow and David Fulton. He is also survived by his girlfriend Maddie Reiter and a group of boys that will always be his brothers.
Services will be held on January 8, 2022 at 10:00 am, at Victory Church in Lakeland, Florida. Following the services there will be a reception at his family’s home at 8025 Brown Rd, Lakeland, Florida.
