Bernard “Tony” Barfoot passed away on July 14, 2018. He was born in Whittington Moor, England on October 4, 1927, to the late George and Ida Barfoot.
Tony lived a full wonderful life. He served in the Royal RAF and Merchant Navy. He travelled all over the world, to too many places to list. Tony retired from the City of Lakeland, and enjoyed playing golf with friends, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Betty Barfoot; son Glynn; daughters, Wendy and Tracy; and two grandchildren, Rebekah and Eric.
A visitation will be held at Lakeland Funeral Home on Monday Aug. 6, at 10 am. The Celebration of Life will follow at 10:30.
In lieu of flowers, the family wished donations to be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 12470 Telecom Drive, Tampa, FL 33637
