BETTY JEANNE ROBERTS

Betty Jeanne Roberts was born in Winter Haven Florida on October 6th 1940, to Horace and Isabelle Arnold. She was proceeded in death by her parents, her sister Mary Arnold Gallo and Grandsons Kyle Roberts and Billy Roberts.

Betty is survived by her husband of 61 years Bernard Roberts, her brothers Preston Arnold and Leroy Arnold. Her three sons William Roberts. Bruce Roberts and Barry Roberts and her daughter Kimberly Tracy. Betty has 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Betty lived in Winter Haven Florida until she was about 2 ½ years old when the family Moved to Akron Ohio. Growing up the Family frequently visited Florida. Betty was a bit of a tom boy growing up and she loved dancing, singing, being near the water and camping.

Betty and Bernie met at Bible church camp in Ohio as teenagers and were later married on June 18th 1961. Betty and Bernie raised their family in Lake City Pa, and moved to Lakeland Florida April 1st 1979. Betty enjoyed vacationing at the beach in Anna Maria Island in Florida along with vacationing in the Carolinas and going on cruises.

Betty was always very active in the church singing in the choir and being a Sunday school secretary. Betty has a passion for cooking and serving others. Betty got involved in quilting and has made several family members quilts. Betty had a career in food service and care giving and was known for her famous Potato salad and dinner rolls.
