I remember Anne Newberry when we all went to Calvary Baptist Church. My mother, Hazel Mills, was a good friend of Anne's, then Mama moved to Virginia in 1978 and lost touch. She is a young 90 now and will be sad to hear about Cheryl and Phillip's mother. If I've forgotten anyone, my apologies. I am just visiting in Lakeland and found out yesterday about Anne. She was dear to me. I'm only sorry I haven't seen her in so many years and now she's gone. But will never be forgotten. Love to the family. I remember you fondly.

Anne "Nana" Newberry enriched the lives of just about anybody that had the good fortune to know her. Her compassion and love for her ever-growing family biological or not will always be remembered by those whose hearts she touched. I am comforted in knowing she is with God in Heaven, with her family, watching over all of her children and grandchildren until the time we will meet again.

Ann was a sweet, precious friend and her love was unconditional! She had a strong personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, and shared her testimony with everyone she met. I’ll see you when I get there Annie! I love you!

Oh my...what a beautiful tribute. Now I know why Emily Hall is the girl she is. Emily's grandmother left a legacy that we, as Christians, should all strive to leave. What better gift to give your family than the introduction to Jesus Christ as Saviour. To God be the glory.
