Olga Emma Gentner of Lakeland, Florida went to be with our Lord Tuesday, March 26th, 2024, at the age of 100. She was born March 19, 1924, in Loganville, Wisconsin. Olga was the daughter of the late Herman and Martha Froelich. Olga moved to Bartow, Florida and worked in a cigar factory in 1946. In her younger years she worked as a beautician. Olga was married to John Kinsey, and they had two children, Deena Kinsey and Christopher Kinsey. Olga moved to Belvidere, Illinois where she was married to Richard Gentner. Later they moved back to Bartow, Florida where she worked for The Lakeland Ledger and The Polk County Democrat newspapers. Olga was preceded in death by her husband Richard Gentner, her brothers Herbert, Albert and Harold Froelich and her sister Hilda Jones. Olga is survived by her brothers Rudolph and Robert Froelich and sisters Ruth Cassens and Linda Lyle. She is also survived by her daughter Deena Price, Son, Christopher Gentner, granddaughter Christy Gentner, grandsons Daniel Gentner and Dillon Gentner and Great granddaughter Liliana Gentner. Olga enjoyed staying busy and would go out of her way to help others. A celebration of her life will be held at Lakeland Memorial Gardens on Saturday, April 13 at 10 am with graveside services to follow at 11 am.
