Mary E. Firment

Mary E. Firment, 69, of Lake Alfred, passed away peacefully at her home on November 9, 2018. She was born January 7, 1949 in Margaretville, NY to parents Herbert and Adrienne Eckert.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband Ronald. Left to treasure her memory is her son Jonathan L Firment and his fiancé Deborah; granddaughter Elizabeth A. Firment Christie; great-grandson Giovanni E. Ziegler; brothers Scott Eckert and Herbert Eckert, Jr.; close family friends Candice Morgan and her son Jacob Daniel Morgan; her devoted Patches as well as many dear friends and extended family.

Mary was a long-time member of the First Presbyterian Church of Winter Haven. She was a proud homemaker who loved to cook for family and friends. She also enjoyed playing pinochle and phase 10.

A visitation will be held Thursday, November 15th from 6-8PM at the Lakeland Funeral Home, 2125 S. Bartow Hwy, Lakeland, FL 33801. Funeral services will be Friday, November 16th at 11AM, also at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Lakeland Memorial Gardens.
