Marlyn "Elaine" Taylor 

October 28, 1943 - October 26, 2017

Lakeland - Marlyn Elaine Taylor peacefully went to be with the Lord while surrounded by family and friends at Lakeland Regional Medical Center on October 26, 2017. She was a retired clerk with the United States Postal Service.

Elaine was born in Winter Haven, Florida on October 28, 1943, to William and Adel Wardlow. 

She is survived by her children LaBron Taylor (April), Shawna Miller (Doug); and Dawn Cherrie Taylor; four grandchildren Meagan, Carrianne, Austin, and Addison; and one great grandson, Eric. 

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 30, 2017, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a graveside service on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Lakeland Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.
