Krista was a great teacher. She was my all time favorite teacher. I am truly going to miss her. I am deeply sorry for your loss. I can't stop thinking about how Lila and Lucy are dealing with this since they are so young and don't understand exactly what this means. Krista was not only my favorite teacher, she was also my best friend. I love her so much and will miss her dearly. Marc I know this will be hard for you to raise those beautiful angels without her. Stay strong and keep fighting.

I have never seen a picture of Krista's children. Those two beautiful girls look like their mother. My heart goes to her entire family. I am so sorry for your loss. Marc, I am so sorry for your loss. Girls, I am so sorry for your loss.
I taught English with Krista in South Korea. She was once my family too, my sister, my best friend. I loved her very much, and that love will remain forever.
I wish I would have kept in better touch... she has reminded me to do so.

I met Krista when she came to my house to pick up her sister Bonnie who was living with us at the time. She immediately gave me a big hug and thanked me for taking such good care of her sister. I was so taken with her sweet and kind personality. My heart goes out to the Clayton family and especially to Bonnie. I know how much she meant to you Bonnie and I know that Krista loved you as much as you loved her. She will be with you in spirit always and will never, ever be forgotten.

You were such an amazing teacher! I remember being a shy and scared 6th grader approaching your class not knowing what to expect, and then leaving on the last day feeling so educated and happy knowing I was fortunate enough to have you as my teacher. Here I am now in the 10th grade both shocked and upset for such a loss. My condolences go out to your family and all of your loved ones and I hope you are resting in the greatest peace ever. Thank you for being so amazing and caring teacher and such an amazing and caring human being. ❤

I just heard the news. We were friends when she lived in Korea and I'm in Seoul as I type. We had such fun times together and had planned on meeting again when the time allowed. I always remember the fun we had at the mud festival in South Korea with Rachel. I never imagined I'd never get the chance to see her again. We hadn't spoken much recently due to living so far apart but we were always able to have a friendly chat no matter how long ago the last time was. I can't imagine what her family and close friends are going through right now as I'm devastated. You will always be in my heart and I will never forget you. XxX

Krista, it hurts a lot to know that you're gone from our world. I'm saddened by this tragic loss of your life, so early on. I know you will never be forgotten and will always live on inside your families and friends hearts. You will live on through your children too. I'm grateful for the gift of life that you were able to give to your two beautiful daughters. You surely have left such a positive imprint on them that will last a lifetime. You were always there for Bonnie and ready to have a long, sister phone conversation in whichever part of the world you two may have been. You were a great sister and I feel pain for you both. My thoughts are with you and your families.

Dear Bonnie, Phil, and the rest of the Clayton family.
My heart breaks with you, for you at Krista’s death. This is what I know: Krista, so smart, beautiful, but unaware of her physical beauty, which made her inner self, her true heart, so clear, so warm. And that smile and laugh! I loved that she got all my jokes. My deepest condolences to you and all the Clayton’s.
