Karen Adams Gardner

Karen Adams Gardner, 63, of Lakeland, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Good Shepherd Hospice. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida on December 26, 1960, to James and Phyllis Adams.

Karen went to Keiser University for Computer Programing. She worked as a salesperson in the auto industry, and as a finance manager. Karen loved sports, playing brain games, crosswords, and playing scrabble. She expressed herself freely, was very intelligent and knowledgeable, and extremely kindhearted. Karen loved and appreciated your caregiver parents very much.

She was preceded in death by her brother James L. Adams, III, and her beloved dog Tazz.
Karen is survived by her children, Winston P. Gardner and Nikki L. Gardner; siblings, Sheryl A. Blommel, Stephen R. Adams, Lynn A. Peck; parents, James L. and Phyllis J. Adams.

Services will be held at Lakeland Funeral Home on Thursday, April 25, 2024. Family will receive friends from 12 PM- 1 PM, service will begin at 1 PM. Please join the family for a reception following the service at Lone Palm Country Club, 800 Lone Palm Dr Lakeland, FL 33815.
