Lakeland - Donald Edward Whorton, 59, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Donald was born March 24, 1958, in Peoria, Illinois to Harold and Anny Whorton.
Donald is survived by his father, Harold J. Whorton; step-mother, Margaret Whorton; sister, Renee Camper; brother, Roy Whorton; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Anny Whorton and daughter, Marie Whorton.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017, from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m., at Lakeland Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens.
