David "Davey" William Gibson

Lakeland – David “Davey” William Gibson, 70, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2017, at Good Shepherd Hospice in Lakeland. Davey was born May 27, 1947, in Belpre, Ohio to William and Gertrude Gibson. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War receiving Two Purple Hearts.

He is survived by his former wife & friend, Beth Gibson; niece, Pam Peffer and nephew, Bret Gradek; loving cousins and caregivers, Ruthanne Pigg, Robyn Weeks, Brad Pigg, Susannah Scoggins, Jordan More, Wayne Emerson and Samantha Harrison. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Penelope Sue Gibson Gradek.

A gathering of family and friends will begin at 3 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at 4 p.m., on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at Lakeland Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens.
