Carmen Llamil De Jesus-Colocho

Carmen Llamil De Jesus-Colocho, 62, of Lakeland, FL, passed away on April 20th, 2024. Her loss is unexpected and we are profoundly saddened.

Carmen was born on December 17th, 1961 to Ramon De Jesus and Ana Felix in Chicago, IL. She is one of five children: Eva, Ramonita, late David, and Ramon Jr. She married her high school sweetheart, Santos Pagan, and had four children. They did get divorced but remained close friends throughout their lives. She travelled to Florida often to visit her best friend, Maria Rosa, and that is where she met her husband, Jose Colocho, in 2007. She moved to Florida later that year and they were married in October of 2009. They had a wonderful life together.

She is survived by her husband, Jose Colocho; her children Santos Pagan (wife Cynthia Pagan), Llamil Williams (husband Joseph Williams), Ana Pagan, and Yvette Maldonado (husband Edward Maldonado); her step children Jose Colocho Jr and Cristian Colocho; and her five grandchildren Alexander Williams, Edward Maldonado Jr, Isaiah Williams, Nathaniel Maldonado, and Natalia Maldonado.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday May 2nd, 2024, at 4pm at Lakeland Funeral Home. The public viewing will be between 4-6pm with a chapel service at 6-7pm.
