I have over 20 years of experience working with both adolescents and adults in overcoming the debilitating effects of grief. I am dedicated to bringing healing answers to the questions loss and the impact it has on our well-being.
Education / Degrees
Masters Level Licensed Therapist and Certified Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor with over 20 years experience.The bereavement process is both dynamic and overwhelming at times. I utilize a Client Reality Centered approach, with the focus of bringing self-knowledge and understanding to the depth of the issues that are interfering with your movement through the bereavement process.
Experience & Qualifications
I have walked along side of many people suffering with issues of grief and loss in a variety of settings. From children who have lost a parent, to those widowed by loss of a spouse, to the unspeakable loss of a child and the tragedy of losing someone to suicide. There are various levels of grief associated with loss and a host of mental stressors that inhibit healing. In addition, I have led a number of retreats for Hospice Workers and can offer to support to the professionals who serve the chronically ill; initiated survivor groups for those losing someone to suicide; and counseled familes and friends of those lost as a result of their addicitons. I am an experiential therapist and offer an array of support through hands on exercises to assist you.
